  3. I can’t tell you how much I loved this book. I thought it was fabulous. I have just added her other two books Ballad and Lament to my Christmas wish list. I hope hubby gets them.

  4. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I really liked Stiefvater’s use of the love story and supernatural to tackle the heavier issues of neglect, abuse and betrayal. I too can’t wait for Linger!

  6. I guess I’d be a bit skeptical myself, had I not heard so many glowing things about it. You have to hand it to the author…it is a creative and clever premise!

  7. I might like this more than I thought I would. My grandfather was attacked by a pack of wolves as a child. He was saved by a man on horseback, though.

  8. I was earlier very apprehensive about wolves , vampires and zombies but now after reading a few good books in this genre I am warming up to it. I will definitely read this book. Thanks for the review.

  9. Sounds like a strange premise for a book but I think I would like it!

  10. Sounds like a suspense rather than romance. I would like it very much to turn into wolf as and when I feel like it! That’s a great way to save money on gas!

  12. I’m so interested in how the inter species relationship is portrayed in this book now. So many people seem to be confused by how Grace can love a wolf, before he’s a boy and I’d like to see how the auhtor writes that.

  13. Honestly, I guess I just didn’t read Grace at the beginning of the book as being in love with the wolf like *that*. It was more to me that she admired the wolves and felt a certain kinship with them, and especially with ‘her’ wolf, the one who saved her. It was a bit odd, since the wolves had attacked her, but less so because of the one that saved her.
