Nicole is a Manhattan based book blogger, born and raised in New York City.  In addition to being an avid reader, she also enjoys traveling, hosting dinner parties and book clubs, and playing bocce on Sunday afternoons.

An active member of the book blogging community, Nicole recently created and started hosting the weekly Blog Talk Radio show- That’s How I Blog! Each radio show is an in-depth discussion with bloggers who share a passion for books, and features candid conversations on favorite books and reading habits, bookish topics,and recent book and blogging trends and practices. A different book is discussed each week as part of a segment entitled Twenty Minute Book Club.

Review Policy: I am a pretty eclectic reader.  I read widely and so long as the work seems like it will be thoughtful and well-written I am pretty much up for most things. I also love a dip into lighter reads from time to time.  That being said, I love to read literary & historical fiction, non-fiction, popular science, books about famous writers, memoirs,  and YA with side of Middle Grade from time to time.

I do accept and receive review copies for this blog, however I have many commitments which compete with my reading time, and  I am not a fast reader.  It can take some time for me to post a review for a book on this site.  I love to read and I love to savor that experience and exchange thoughts with other readers.  I also read largely according to my mood – keeping reading fun and enjoyable for me is my #1 priority.  I don’t guarantee a review on this site for any book that I have received, nor am I usually able to commit to any specific dates for reviews. I do highlight some books which I have not read, and also feature books on my podcasts That’s How I Blog! and the Underground Literary Society.
