Coming This Summer: Nerds Heart YA

I just finished reading The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins. I polished it off in one sitting, and it was excellent, but it’s not a little book by any means. This book is all over the place as are many others, so what about all the great lesser known YA reads? Renay, from YA Fabulous wanted to make sure that all the little guys got their due and so for this summer she rounded up the troops, 20 book bloggers in all, and created Nerds Heart YA, a tournament of the more obscure, but still great YA reads . I’m so excited to be one of the judges. We’ll look at 16 of the best YA books you probably haven’t heard much about in search of the ONE. Watch these great blogs below for more information, reviews, and to see what advances in the tournament.

I think this is a fantastic idea! Can’t wait to see how it turns out.
I know! I can’t wait!
I second Kathy!
It’ll be fun to get great new boo recommendations.
Great idea. Can’t wait to see the results of the tournament.

I’m excited that I get to choose one of the books going into the final round.
That is such a good idea!
I don’t normally read YA books (although I loved The Hunger Games too) I look forward to hearing about some less well known books, and will commit to reading the winner of this tournament, if not a few more.
Have fun judging!
I’m glad to know about this, because my library will no longer be buying new YA books, and that’s where I went to see what was up in YA.
I’d forgotten you’re part of this! Yay! This will be a blast, and I’m really excited about the books I’ve been assigned.
