One of my goals is to read 52 books this year, which of course is a book a week. So far I have managed to keep up (I have read 28 books in 26 weeks), but only because I had a lot more time in the beginning of the year and was able to read a couple of books a week. Not so much anymore! I figured it would work out this way and that I would read more in some periods like over the holiday weekend and when I was on vacation than I might at busier times during the year, which is lately.
My other goal in relation to reading was finishing a book completely before starting on the next one. And that’s another thing I managed to do until recently when I had to put down a book to start and finish something that I needed to read for book club. I’m interested to see how the rest of the year will shape up in this respect because at this point I don’t have that much of a cushion, although I do plan on playing catch up over the holiday weekend since I’m deferring my fun now until Italy in a few weeks.
