(Read my review of Conscience Point)
Conscience Point just came out in trade paper back, and it’s got a spiffy new cover. See.

The new cover is funky and cool but I think I like the hardcover cover better. Something about a piano just plunked down on a beach under a gorgeous cloud-filled sky speaks to me. Which do you prefer?

I like the first cover – much prettier
I like the first cover. I can imagine the solitude of sitting out on that beach, under that lonesome sky, and playing just for me. It’s like Fleetwood Mac in concert, ending with Christine McVie playing Songbird or Stevie Nicks playing Silver Spring, sitting all alone on stage with just a piano, serenading the audience, who sits in silent awe. Awesome!

I like the cover with the piano as it is more striking. The sky is unique and makes me think something is coming. There is a power to it and the colors catch your attention.
I like the hardcover much better! The paperback art just doesn’t say much to me at all.
Thanks for the giveaway
I think the hardcover is so pretty. I like it the best. Please include my name in your giveaway.

New to your blog
I do like to stumble upon new ones.
So yes the first one is better, to be honest, if I saw the 2nd one I wouldn’t pick it up. Poor book, but I am a terrible cover lover.
The book sounds great

I definitely like the first cover better because I love the colors used. The second cover reminds me too much of a comic book.
I like the first cover as well… the two covers emit such different first impressions, which is odd when we are speaking of the same book.

I’m one of those who chooses new books by their cover, and that second one turns me off so I would never give it a chance. I don’t know that I’d choose the book based on the first cover either, but it would give it more of a fighting chance, depending on my mood.
Thanks for the giveaway >^..^<
I like the beach scene the best.

I actually like the piano on the beach. It is quite striking. I think the new cover is rather modernistic and sharp. Maybe it’s the black and red that isn’t pleasing or as pleasing as the other cover.
I like the beach cover – I’m not sure I would be interested in reading it with the new cover.
Thanks
I like the first cover the best. It makes the book appear to be more serious, less cartoonish.
Much prefer the original cover.
I really prefer the first cover — it has a dreamy quality that really draws me to it.
I like the beech scene more. It is relaxing
I actually like the first cover; the second has too much of a modernist feel for my liking.

I like the hardcover version because I tells a better story and gives me a better idea of what the book is like.
