- June is Audio Book Month and Jen at Devourer of Books will celebrating all this week. Stop by to share your thoughts on one of her daily topics on audio books and you could win a prize. - Nerds Heart YA is back for its third year. And I am back for a third time as a judge in this competition showcasing the best YA books that you never heard about. This year Heather and I will be judging the semi-finals bracket, and our choices will duke it out for the big winner, to be chosen by The Book Smugglers. Stop by to familiarize yourself with the books, the competition and the judges, and for a chance to win one of two amazing prize packs full of signed books and other goodies.
- The Spend the Summer with Agatha Christie Read-a-long is underway. Check out the first Ms. Marple short story with Book Club Girl. You can read the story, The Tuesday Night Club, for free and chime in on the discussion questions. While you’re there check out the schedule for the rest of the summer. I will be holding watch-alongs for 3 Poirot mysteries and a Miss Marple mystery beginning the week on June 19th. Julie (Booking Mama) and I will be watching the first movie, Three Act Tragedy, live on twitter, but remember, Poirot movies are already airing on PBS! Watch live by checking your local listings for PBS or watch online.
