On My First Book Club!
Julie has started a fabulous new feature on her blog called Book Club Exchange and guess who snagged the debut post? Moi! I was my usually non-succinct self and blabbed on and on about starting my first book club. Go and skim it (it’s 1500 words, oops!), and tell me you read it. Every word. 
I love being nosy about other people’s book clubs. Don’t you? Julie has some great posts lined up and I think she’s hoping to make this a regular feature. So help her out and give me a way to feed my book club curiosity by getting more info and signing up at her Book Club Exchange post.

That’s a great post, and it’s very timely for me because my brand-spanking-new book club is only in its fourth month. I’m excited about it, and I’m really loving hearing about everyone else’s book club experiences so I know what to do. Or not do.
Also, it’s very comforting to me that there’s another book blogger out there (you!) who is admittedly not succinct. I’m not, either, and there’s just no point in trying.

That is such a good idea for a feature! As I said over at Julie’s, I just joined a book club for the first time ever. We’ve had two meetings, and I can already tell there are going to be things that bother me, but I’m riding it out. I’ve hesitated to join one because I’ve heard that all they do is talk about their kids and husbands, and not the book. At least my group does discuss the book, and 90% of them have read it! I am quite envious of yours!
