I just read your post..every word! I love being nosy about other book clubs as well…it’s fun to read about! Your book club sounds wonderful and makes me wish that I was living in NYC and could join you as well! Just curious…do your book club friends know about your blog or do you keep that private and seperate?

That is such a good idea for a feature! As I said over at Julie’s, I just joined a book club for the first time ever. We’ve had two meetings, and I can already tell there are going to be things that bother me, but I’m riding it out. I’ve hesitated to join one because I’ve heard that all they do is talk about their kids and husbands, and not the book. At least my group does discuss the book, and 90% of them have read it! I am quite envious of yours!

That’s a great post, and it’s very timely for me because my brand-spanking-new book club is only in its fourth month. I’m excited about it, and I’m really loving hearing about everyone else’s book club experiences so I know what to do. Or not do.

Also, it’s very comforting to me that there’s another book blogger out there (you!) who is admittedly not succinct. I’m not, either, and there’s just no point in trying.
