I haven’t read the book or seen the movie, but I am also reading the book for Shelf Discovery Challenge. I’m glad the movie is good. I was thinking it possible that it might not be.

I have S&S Sea Monsters. No movie for that but I am more amused by it than I thought I would be.

I didn’t know either. I was looking up something else on IMDB, and just put it in to see and it came up. I haven’t read the book or seen the movie but I was reading the book for another challenge, so it’s good to have the crossover.

I can still remember seeing Island of the Blue Dolphins in school and then wanting to read the book so bad! It was never available in the library…too many holds. And then I remember reading the book when it was FINALLY available and not being that impressed with it! I’d love to put this one on my list to read this year to see what I might think of it now!

Oh my god I had no idea there was a movie for Island of the Blue Dolphins!! I loved that book and it is already on my TBR pile for 2010. I may have to sign up for this challenge just so I have an excuse to watch the movie.

Welcome aboard. Thanks for joining my challenge. I just read Sense and Sesibility and watched a recent BBC television adaptation. It was fun to. I'm going to post a duel review of them next month.
