This sounds like a great challenge; I’m challenging *myself* not to buy any “new” books, so I’ll scour other people’s lists to find 6 or so that I already own I do have the first three on your list; I re-read Julie of the Wolves not too long ago so I’d probably skip that, but the other two have been on my re-read shelves for some time

What a great idea! My book club read The Witch of Blackbird Pond a few years ago and everyone really enjoyed it! Island of the Blue Dolphins was one of my favorites!

What fun! I read and enjoyed Witch of Blackbird Pond and Island of the Blue Dolphins back in the day and liked them both, but I OWNED and LOVED Stranger with My Face and Caroline. Actually, I owned tons of books besides Caroline from the Sunfire series (Jacqueline and Emily were two other particular favorites.) Oh, you guys are dangerous! I really do want to participate in this challenge. I do not have the book however, so maybe once I get back from my trip, I’ll go to the bookstore and thumb through it and find my list. I have a pretty good idea already, but I don’t want to miss anything important! It will be a trip to read some of the books I obsessed over when I was a teenager!
