There are so many to choose from! A few that come immediately to mind are The Devil You Know by Mike Carey, The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson, The Strain by Guillermo del Toro, Sunglasses After Dark by Nancy Collins, and a collection of short stories about female vampires called Women of the Night that includes stories by Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, and others. If I had to narrow it down though, I guess the spooky tales I’m most passionate about at the present moment are the Locke & Key graphic novels by Joe Hill.
